Lou Ann (McCart) Burchfield, 46, of Toronto, Ohio ended her battle with cancer Wednesday April 2, 2008 at her home surrounded by her family.Lou Ann was born Nov. 4, 1961 in Steubenville, daughter of the late Judith(Lewis) McCart, who passed away in 1977 and Thomas P. McCart, who survives of Toronto. Lou Ann held an in home daycare for children, for 15 years. She attended the Nazarene Church in Steubenville. In addition to her mother Judy, she was preceded in death by her brother Timothy McCart on Dec. 26, 2007. Surviving in addition to her father Thomas McCart, is her husband Paul H. Burchfield, whom she married on Aug. 22, 1984, four daughters, Arica of Weirton, Felicia of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Susie of Columbus, and Natalie of West Liberty (College) W.Va. Her sister, Linda McCart of Columbus, her brother, Thomas P. McCart Jr. of Toronto, and two grandchildren Kaycen and Leland. Friends and family may call on Friday April 4, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm., at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 701 Findley St. Toronto; where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am. Rev. Ron Miller will officiate the service and burial will be at the convenience of Lou Ann's family.
