Louis C. Hass, 75, of Adena, OH, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday March 4, 2025.

Louis was born on Dec. 12, 1949, in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Henry and Maxine (Burdick) Hass.

He was a welding inspector and teacher by trade, working 40 years for System One, traveling the world with his skills. His inspections ranged from small minute welds, to the NASA Space Center, to nuclear power plants.

Lou was a very intelligent, kindhearted loving man. Anyone who had a conversation with him never left without learning something new. He touched so many lives and helped so many people. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, flea markets, car shows, thrift stores and collecting cars.

In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his daughter, Erin Maxwell; sisters, Ceclia Hass and Karen Morrison, and brother, Henry Scott Hass.

Surviving is his daughter, Aubrey D. McGee of Wintersville, OH; his best friend, Dianne Cline Hass McClure of New Alexandria, OH; triplet grandsons, Kain and Kristian Maxwell of Steubenville, and Kalib Maxwell of Wintersville; granddaughter, Chelsea Maxwell of Toronto; grandchildren, Clarence, Azjha, Journey and Rhea McGee all of Wintersville; five great-grandchildren, and his brother, Gary (Patty) Hass of Columbus, OH.

A Memorial Service and Gathering for Louis will be held on Saturday, March 15, from 1 PM to 5 PM at the Four Seasons Ministries Auditorium, 129 School St. Steubenville, OH (Pleasant Hill) 43952.
