Louise V. Motto, 89, of Toronto, OH, passed away Sunday Dec. 25, 2016 in Trinity Medical West in Steubenville, OH.

Louise was born Sept. 1, 1927 in Toronto, daughter of the late Louis and Ethel (Holfire) Swartz.

She was previously employed at the former Hancock Manufacturing Co. in Toronto.

Louise was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Toronto and she was a member of the Jednota Lodge.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband Martin V. Motto, in 1989; her grandson Jason Motto, in 2002; four brothers, Steve, Emery, Edward and Tom Swartz and by three sisters, Mary Holmgreen, Josephine Myers and Anna Sembar.

Louise leaves behind her two sons, Martin Marty Motto and Joseph (Gina) Motto both of Toronto; her grandson, Justin (Samantha) Motto of Steubenville; her two great-granddaughters, Sophie Bella and Cora Grace Motto and a special thank you to her caregiver, Esther Anderson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening Dec. 29, 2016 from 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto. Additional visitation will take place on Thursday at St. Joseph Church located on N. River Ave. from 10 am til time of Louises Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 11 am. Fr. Mario Tizziani will celebrate and Fr. Thomas Vennitti will con-celebrate her Mass. Burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery. A Vigil Service will be held on Wednesday evening at 8pm at the funeral home.
