Lucille Marie "Marty" Spano Kirkbride Platt, 62, of Wintersville, OH, died Tuesday March 6, 2012 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North.Lucille was born on January 30, 1950 in Cherry Point, NC, daughter of the late Samuel Spano of Weirton and her biological mother Patricia (Hoag) Engel of Peru, VT. Marie was Catholic by faith.Marie was also preceded in death by her husband James Platt, her grandparents, Louis and Lucille (Tassey) Spano, Chalmer and Mildred Elliott of Paris, PA, Charles and Margaret Hoag of Weirton, WV and her niece Veronica Eve McClure, her nephew Louis S. Spano, Jr., sister-in-law Laura (Flowers) Spano.Marie is survived by her mother Joan Spano of Weirton, two daughters, Marlanea Kirkbride of Temecula, CA, and Dorothy Kirkbride of East Liverpool, OH, one son Gary Kirkbride Jr., of New Cumberland, WV; her seven siblings, four sisters, Marcy Spano of Weirton, Joni (James) Hobart of Myrtle Beach, SC, Patty (David) Conlon of Toronto, OH, Sharon Engel Poddick and her husband of Peru, VT, three brothers, Ralph (Donna) Spano of Steubenville, OH, Joseph Spano, and Louis (Tina) Spano both of Weirton; several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.There will be a Memorial Service for Lucille held on Friday, March 9 at 11am at the Paris Presbyterian Church in Paris, PA on Steubenville Pike, with the Rev.
