Lydia Susann Kenny Johnson, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 at her home in Toronto, OH.

The daughter of the late John S. Kenny and Mary Rose DelFiandra, Lydia was born in her parent's home in Steubenville on August 20, 1938.

During her formative years, Lydia attended St. Peters Elementary then Catholic Central High School, graduating in 1956. She and her family were proud members of St. Peters Church during those years and Lydia was instilled with a strong faith that lasted her lifetime.

Lydia was married to Walter D. Johnson from 1964 until his death in 2004. She retired from the Social Security Administration after many years of service.

Lydia will be greatly missed by her son John W. Johnson, with whom she resided. Also surviving is her daughter Theresa along with three beloved granddaughters, Annabella, Aurianna and Amelia Cusick. She also leaves behind her younger brother John J. Kenny and his wife Janet of Baltimore, MD and her special friend and caregiver Nancy Klink Truini.

Visitation will be held on Monday Aug. 7, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto, OH. Additional visitation will take place on Tuesday at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church on N. 4th St. in Steubenville from 9:15 am til time of Lydias Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10 am. Rev. Father Bradley Greer will Celebrate Lydias Mass and burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville.
