Mabel Eileen Braley, 72, of Mt. Pleasant, OH, passed away Friday Aug. 1, 2014 in Wheeling Hospital. Mabel was born Jan. 22, 1942 in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Violet Corrick Costlow. Mabel was formerly employed as a Manager for R.I.A. Inc. and the former Scio Pottery. She was a member of the Smithfield Christian Church and was a graduate of Smithfield High School. In addition to her mother, Mabel was preceded in death by her husband Ronald in 2006. Surviving is her son William R. 'Bill' and wife Michele Braley of Tiltonsville, OH; her daughter Brenda and husband Barry Bowser of Chardon, OH; seven grandchildren, Mike, Danielle, Kody, Breanna, Devon, Adrianna and Colin; two sisters Joyce (Paul) Skaggs of Piney Fork, OH and Phyllis Grizzle of Arizona; several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday Aug. 10, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Friends Church in Mt. Pleasant, OH. A luncheon for family and friends will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Vol. Fire Dept.
