Margaret L. (Taylor) Elder, 86, of Toronto, OH, passed away Friday, March 25, 2011 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.Margaret was born July 29, 1924 in Port Homer, OH, daughter of the late Thomas C. and Edith (Vantilburg) Taylor.Margaret was a former member of the Knoxville Presbyterian Church where she was a former Deacon and Church School Teacher. She was also a 1942 graduate of Jefferson Union High School.In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Tracy E. Elder who died in 1992; five brothers, Robert J., James A., Charles S., Richard C. and Thomas H. Taylor; two granddaughters, Robine Diane Elder and Amber Rae Wellington.Margaret is survived by two sons, Robert E. (Sylvia) Elder, Donald R."Donnie" (Lisa) Elder; two daughters, Linda Miller and her companion Larry Wallace and Renee (Ray) Wellington all of Toronto, OH; two brothers, Eugene (Margie) Taylor of FL and Ernest (Brenda) Taylor of FL; two sisters, Martha Taylor of Toronto, OH and Nancy Goldsmith also of Ohio.Margaret is also survived by her eight grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.Visitation for Margaret will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH where her funeral service will be held on Monday, March 28 at 11am with the Rev. Tom Snodgrass officiating. Burial will follow in the Knoxville Cemetery in Knoxville, OH.
