Margaret E. (Emery) Ferguson, 83, of Wintersville, OH, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010 in the Gables Care Center in Hopedale, OH.Margaret was born on July 16, 1927 in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late George S. and Matilda (Hicks) Emery.Margaret was a member of the Finley United Methodist Church in Steubenville, OH; she was retired from Ohio Valley Hospital where she worked as a Nurse's Aid and she was a member of the Eastern Star Labelle Chapter.In addition to her parents Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Philip R. Ferguson who passed away in 2009, her two sisters, Mary Miles and June Hibbits and her brother William T. Emery.Margaret is survived by two sons, Phillip Wayne (Judith) Ferguson of Wintersville, OH and George Douglas Ferguson of Steubenville, OH; her daughter Elizabeth J. Ferguson of Weirton, WV and her brother Edward F.(Francine) Emery of Steubenville, OH. Margaret is also survived by six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Margaret's burial was held privately on Friday, December 31st with her family present at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, OH. Rev. Jeff Greco officiated her service.
