Margaret Louise Keaton, better known as "Mugs", 69, of Steubenville, OH, passed away Monday, December 18, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

Mugs was born January 17, 1954, daughter of the late Arthur and Betty (Carnes) Dunkerton. In addition to her parents, Mugs was preceded in death by sisters, Denise and Saundra, her son, Jimmy Keaton, and granddaughter, Nia Thompson.

Mugs had several jobs over the years, including running her own daycare but none were more meaningful and fulfilling than being a mother and a grandmother. She will forever remain in everyones heart, and she can rest peacefully now.

Mugs leaves behind her twin children, daughter Dawn Keaton and son, Buck Keaton, both of Steubenville; sisters, Diana and Bonnie, four grandchildren, Maddie, Cody & wife Taylor, Nikaya, and Alivia; two great-grandchildren, Kyzar and Amari; two bonus daughters, April and Angel, her dog "Buddy Love" and a host of nieces, nephews.

Mugs wished to not have a public service. Her arrangements are private, and her burial will be held at the convenience of her family.
