Margaret Peg (Howe) Monigold 80, of Currituck, NC passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at her home.

Peg was born Dec. 14, 1938 in Toronto, OH, daughter of the late Paul and Julia (Donofrio) Howe.

She was a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Toronto. Peg sold real estate for many years in Columbus, OH.

In addition to her parents, Peg was preceded in death by her husband, Bryan Monigold, who passed away October 30, 2005, two sisters, Patty Lou Howe and Paula Chevalier.

Peg leaves behind her two faithful companions, Gigi and Pepe; her sons, Bryan (Mary) Monigold and William (Denise) Monigold; her daughters, Patricia (Joe) Vucjak and Juli (Rick) Kanoski; her six grandchildren, Ricky (Alyson) Hurley, Jordan (Jamie) Hurley, Jason Monigold, Joshua (Jen) Monigold, Elizabeth Monigold, Bryan Monigold and her four great-grandchildren, Oliver, Emma, Kaylee, and Ethan.

Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 28 from 3 7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held Saturday at 10 am at St. Francis Church in Toronto. Fr. Vennitti will celebrate and burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery.

A Vigil Service will be held Friday at 3 pm at the funeral home. There will also be additional visitation Saturday morning from 9:15 am til 10 am in the rear of the church.
