Margaret M. (Yanik) Skrabak, 87, of Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2012 in the Stone Pear Pavilion in Chester, WV.Margaret was born August 11, 1924 in Mingo Junction, OH, daughter of the late Pius T. and Mary (Kovach) Yanik. Margaret was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Toronto, OH, Jednota, Toronto Seniors, VFW Auxillary; she was an avid bowler, seamstress and baker. Margaret was retired from the former Hancock Manufacturing, Badge #1 in Toronto where she had 40 years of service.In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her sister Veronica Wells, brothers Edward and Thomas Yanik.Margaret is survived by her husband of 67 years, John G. Skrabak of home; her son John (Kathy) Skrabak of Raleigh, NC, her daughter Susan (William) Kulstad of Toronto, OH, her son Dennis (Marlene) Skrabak of Dyer, IN; her grandchildren, Marlene (Greg) Hebner, Michele (Michael) Argyres, Bill (Erin) Kulstad, Sean (Mareen) Kulstad, Adam Skrabak, Stephanie (Jim) Spasoto, Sebrina (Juan) Hernandez, John Lincoln (Jessica) Skrabak. Margaret also leaves behind 11 great-grandchildren.Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 27 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH. Funeral Liturgy with Mass for Margaret will be held on Saturday at St. Francis Catholic Church in Toronto, OH at 10am with Fr. Thomas Vennitti officiating. There will be additional visitation on Saturday from 9:15am til the time of the Mass at 10am at the Church. Entombment will follow in Ft. Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, OH.In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorial donations be made to Valley Hospice 10686 St. Rt. 150 Rayland, OH 43943 or St. Francis Catholic Church 1225 North River Ave, Toronto, OH 43964.
