Margaret June Sokol, 87, of Toronto, OH, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 17, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family.June was born June, 3, 1923 in Toronto, OH, daughter of the late Stephen O. and Catherine G. (McCuen) Hughes.June was a member of the St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church in Toronto, where she was a member of the Ladies Guild and the Toronto Senior Citizens.In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband Walter J. Sokol and by 4 sisters and 2 brothers.June is survived by her son Thomas and his wife Donna of Chester, VA; her daughter Peggy and her husband Randy of Coral Springs, FL. June is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, October 19 from 4-8pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH, where there will be a Parastas Service held at 6 pm. Family and friends will gather Wednesday morning at 10:30am at the funeral home followed by a Solemn Divine Liturgy with Mass at 11am at St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church in Toronto, OH with the Fr.
