Martha Rose (Mayle) Domenick, 76, of Smithfield, OH, passed away Tuesday July 9, 2024, in WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital.

Martha was born November 15, 1947, in Rush Run, OH, daughter of the late Rufus and Clara (Hand) Mayle.

She was a 1966 graduate of Smithfield High School and went on to graduate from the IBM College of Computers and Banking in Youngstown, OH. Martha was the co-owner-operator of Just Hair, since 1976 and Vend-It since 1982.

Martha was so proud of her grandchildren and loved spending time with them and attending their many activities. She also had a love for animals and enjoyed spending time with her late grand-dog Rocco, and most recently grand-puppy Scarlet. Martha was also an avid reader, loved flowers and gardening, and cooking and baking.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her five brothers, Harvey, Millard, Samer, Glenn and Earl Mayle and two sisters, Addie Verhovec and Lois Kerr.

Surviving is her husband, John Domenick, whom she married on January 13, 1968, and loved spending time with and eating together at local restaurants, her son J.B. (Tonia) Domenick of Vienna, WV, and her two grandchildren Ian and Kendal Domenick also of Vienna; two sisters, Edith (Joe) Fetty of Brilliant, OH, and Mary Brodzinski of Mesa, AZ.

Marthas wishes were to have a private family graveside service, at Northern Cemetery, at the convenience of her family. Martha continued to give back even in her death as she was an organ donor.
