Martha Joan (Pavia) Parsons of East Liverpool, OH passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in East Liverpool.

Martha was born in Empire, OH, daughter of the late Nicholas Pavia and Assunta Pavia Sestito.

She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in East Liverpool. Martha was retired from Sears and Rite Aid Pharmacy and she volunteered at East Liverpool City Hospital and was a member of the Silver Sneakers at the YMCA in Calcutta.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Parsons, who passed in 1991, her step-father Joseph Sestito, her brother Ralph Pavia and her sisters Jennie Cantini and Concetina Sestito.

Martha leaves behind her sister, Christine Tina Lamantia of Toronto, OH and her brother, James (Emily) Sestito of Clear Water, FL and several nieces and nephews.

Marthas Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held on Saturday, March 21 at 12 noon at the St. Aloysius Church in East Liverpool. There will be an hour of visitation in the rear of the church from 11 am til time of Mass at noon. Fr. Daniel Cipar will celebrate the Mass and burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery in Wellsville, OH.
