KATZ, Marvin Edward, 62, of Toronto, Ohio, has journeyed home to be with the Lord, on Saturday, December 15, 2007, after suffering an apparent heart attack. Marvin was born September 10, 1945, in Euclid, Ohio, son of the late Samuel 'Sam' and Florence Cramer Katz. He was formerly employed at the Market Street News in Wheeling; and was a longtime Truck Driver. He was a member of the Faith Chapel of Steubenville, an active member of the Mingo Sportsman Club, the Hopedale American Legion, and was over a 30-year active member of the Barbarians M.C. Marvin served his Country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Specialist Four Katz received the Bronze Star Medal with 'V' Device, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device, and Sharpshooter M-14 and 45 Pistol honors. Marvin is survived by his wife of 25 years, Tracy (Yontz) Katz, whom he married on November 11, 1982; son, Joshua Katz of home; daughter, Stacy (Matthew) Muklewicz of Hopedale; son, Jon (Lisa) Katz of Sacramento, Calif.; five grandchildren including, Hailey Katz, Nathan Muklewicz, and Logan Katz; and two step- grandchildren, Bruce Muklewicz and Matthew Muklewicz Jr. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., at the J.E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 701 Findley St., Toronto, where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Gary King will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Ft. Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville. Full military burial honors will be provided by the Hopedale American Legion.
