Mary Louise "Meem" Baker, 92, of Toronto, OH, passed away Monday, July 18, 2011 in the Country Club Manor in Steubenville, OH.Mary Louise was born April 7, 1919 in Toronto, OH, daughter of the late Albert and Alice (Boothe) Reynolds.She was a homemaker, cook, and a member of the Toronto First United Methodist Church, Toronto Eastern Stars, White Shrine and the Toronto Senior Citizens. Mary Louise also loved being known as "Meem," "Gram," and "Grandma Baker" to many.In addition to her parents, Mary Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Loren Baker who passed away in 1978; her two sisters, Mildred Nagel and Phyllis Harris; her two brothers, Austin and Edward Reynolds.Mary Louise is survived by her three daughters, Karen (Ray) Horne and Lois Ann Baker all of Toronto, OH, Janet (Timothy) Grimes of Wintersville, OH, and her one son, Robert (Geneva) Baker of Bloomingdale, OH; her sister Vera Brobston of Whittier, CA; she is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Tom (Terri) Horne, Ken (Beth) Chupa, Jeff Horne, Barbra (Ray) Poe, Jason (Natalie) DiBenedetto, Jeff (Hollie) McClure, Jeremy (Tracy) McClure and Justin McClure, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, July 20, from 3-8pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, 701 Findley St., Toronto, OH. Mary Louise's funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 21 at 11am at the First United Methodist Church, 6th and Main St. in Toronto, OH, with Rev. Kevin Rinkes officiating and her burial will follow in Ft. Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, OH.
