Mary K. (Truini) Cihon, 88, of Piney Fork, OH, passed away Friday, December 30, 2011 at her home.Mary was born on October 31, 1923 in Monongahela, PA daughter of the late Louis V. and Nicolina C. (Vita) Truini.Mary was a former member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Piney Fork, and a current member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Dillonvale. She was a very active member of St. Theresa' s Catholic Women's Club. Mary was a housewife and a loving grandmother and Noni; she was an avid Cleveland Indians Fan, loved playing cards and working puzzles and she loved to grow African Violets and Orchids.In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Carl J. Cihon, Sr. who passed in 2005; brothers Sam, Joseph and Mario Truini. Mary is survived by her children, son Carl J., Jr. (Debi) Cihon of Smithfield, OH, daughter Pam (Keith) Berry of Dillonvale, OH, daughter Maria (Brian) Parteli of Smithfield, OH; her sisters, Jean Bednarski of Lincoln Park, MI and Amelia (Paul) Ferda of South Gate, MI. Mary is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild along with numerous relatives.Visitation for Mary will be held on Sunday, January 1, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held for Mary on Monday, January 2 at 10am at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Dillonvale with Msgr. John Kolesar as Celebrant. Additional Visitation will take place at the Church from 9:15 am til time of Mass. Everyone will meet at the Church. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens in Colerain, OH. Wake Service will be Sunday Evening at 7:30 pm. Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's memory to the: Piney Fork American Legion Auxiliary, St. Adalbert Catholic Church or Valley Hospice Inc.
