Mary M. Dennis, 89, of Steubenville, Ohio formerly of Toronto, passed away Thursday evening March 20, 2008 in the Lancia Villa Royale Nursing Home in Steubenville. She was born Feb. 11, 1919 in Connorsville, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Mary Krisko Mihalik. She was formerly employed at the Wellsville China and the Sterling China Co., in Wellsville, OH. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Toronto and the Toronto Eagles. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Dennis in 2007; her grandson Gerald Vantilburg; two grand-daughters, Pamela Farley and Cynthia Colby; her great-granddaughter Mary Jean Colletti; son-in-law Donald Shipley; three sisters, Cecilia Eshbaugh, Frances Spicer and Dorothy Carter; two brothers, John and Rudy Mihalik. Mary is survived by her daughter, Dolores Shipley of Pottery Addition; her grandson, Thomas Culp of Bloomingdale; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; two sisters, Margaret Hanlon of Wellsville, OH, and Barbara Kwiatoski of Martinsburg, WV. Friends and family may call on Monday, March 24th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 701 Findley St. Toronto. Additional visitation will take place on Tuesday morning at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church from 9:15 am until the time of the her Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10:00 am. Msgr.
