Mary Elizabeth Cibulka, 91 of Smithfield, OH, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday May 12, 2017.

She was born Nov. 29, 1925 in Smithfield, daughter of the late Clyde and Margaret (Dennis) Higgins.

Mary was retired from the former St. Johns Medical Center Business office.

She was a member of the Smithfield Christian Church and the Smithfield O.E.S., where she was a Past Matron.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Cibulka in 2010.

Her family would like to give a special thanks to the care givers at Gables in Hopedale, OH, Valley Hospice for their helpful support and to her home care givers: Randi, Margaret, Patty, Renee and Kim for their excellent care and compassionate ways during Marys final days.

Surviving are her two daughters, Robin Cibulka and Peg (Rodney) Lecik both of Smithfield and her granddaughter, Megan (Brent) Lecik-Wetherell of New Alexandria, OH. Mary also leaves behind her faithful dog Susee, who was with her to the end.

Family and friends will be received Monday May 15, 2017 from 4 - 8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 107 Hill St. in Smithfield. Her funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 am at the funeral home with Rev. John Oliver officiating and burial will follow in Northern Cemetery in Smithfield.

There will be additional visitation on Tuesday from 10 am til time of service at 11 am.
