Mary Frances Krulcik, 97 of Smithfield, OH, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on May 12, 1928, in Piney Fork, OH, Mary was a faithful member of St. Therese Catholic Church of Piney Fork and St. Adalbert Catholic Church of Dillonvale throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary (Bodnar) Curtis; her loving and devoted husband, Stanley "Stash" Krulcik; her daughter Tina Krulcik and son Daniel "Snapper" Krulcik; her great-grandson Zachary Krulcik; and her beloved siblings. She is reunited with them in eternal peace.

Mary's greatest joy was her family and friends. She is survived by her son Ken (Mara) Krulcik, daughter Lori Krulcik Claire, and daughter-in-law Christine Purpura Krulcik; her grandchildren, Eric (Alexis) Krulcik, Tera Krulcik, Elizabeth (Brian) Backman, Joshua (Cami) Krulcik, Kaylie Claire, and Lyndi Claire; and her great-grandchildren, Jacob Krulcik, Isabella Krulcik, Samuel Krulcik, Anna Krulcik, and Elijah Backman. She is also remembered with love by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Those who knew Mary will remember her warmth, strength, and the way she made everyone feel at home. Her legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured and the countless lives she touched.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Adalbert Catholic Church on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 10 am celebrated by Fr. William Cross. Mary's family will receive friends from 9:15 am to 10 am in the rear of the church. Friends and family are welcome to attend and share in remembering Mary's life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Adalbert Catholic Church or Valley Hospice.
