Mary L. Pietrangelo, 95, of Smithfield, Ohio passed away Friday Jan. 11, 2008 in the Harrison Community Hospital in Cadiz, Ohio. Mary was born March 28, 1912 in Pagana, Italy, daughter of the late Samuel V. and Maria Machivachio Pietrangelo. Mary was a life long member of the Smithfield Christian Church. She retired from Consolidated Coal in 1977. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Albert Pietrangelo and sister-in-laws Geraldine Pietrangelo, Marybelle Pietrangelo and Caroline Pietrangelo. Surviving are; three brothers, Ralph of Gulfport, MS., Tony of Cadiz, and Julius of Smithfield, a sister-in-law Doris Pietrangelo of Columbus, and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call today(Sunday) Jan. 13th, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm., at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 107 Hill St. Smithfield; where Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11: 00 am. Rev. Wilford Simeral will officiate the service. Burial will be at the convenience of Mary's family in Northern Cemetery in Smithfield.
