Obituary
Mary Kathryn Strautmann, 75, of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday July 30, 2022, in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.
Mary Kathryn was born June 5, 1947, in Harrison Twp., PA, daughter of the late John M. and Edna M. (Hammond) Mitchell.
Mary Kathryn was in sales most of her life working in the insurance field. She also previously worked for the Polk City Directory.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Toronto and a former choir director in Wheeling and Riverview United Methodist in Toronto. Recently Mary Kathryn was the music director for the Power Surge Quartet.
In addition to her parents, Mary Kathryn was preceded in death by two brothers, and aunt, Kathryn L. Kitty Hammond.
Surviving is her daughter, Jody L. (Jeremy) Kelley of Toronto, and grandson, MillQuise Thomas Fordham, also of Toronto.
Mary Kathryns wishes were to be cremated with no services observed. Arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Jefferson Co. Animal Shelter.
