Mary Katherine Westlake, 66, of Toronto, OH, passed away Monday, February 24, 2025, at her home.

Mary Kay was born August 23, 1958, in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late James C. Westlake and Stella E. (Pawelczyk) Westlake, who survives.

She was a 1976 graduate of Toronto High School and a 1978 graduate of the former Jeff Tech. Community College. Mary Kay's career spanned many companies including 15+ years at the Ball Corp. in Weirton before moving into the construction industry as an accounting and payroll clerk, retiring from BrandSafway, a construction scaffold company. Mary Kay was also a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Toronto.

She leaves behind her mother, Stella, of Toronto; her son, TW Tolman and fiancé Taylor Tsesmilles of Salineville, OH; sister, Christine (James) Flowers and brother, James (Kendra) Westlake both of Toronto; grandson, Jayce Tsesmilles; niece, Christina Westlake and nephew, Joseph Westlake of Toronto, and her beloved Basset Hound, Hank.

Visitation for Mary Kay will be held on Friday, Feb. 28, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. A Funeral Liturgy will take place Saturday at 10 AM (visitation from 9:15-10AM) at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Thomas Vennitti. Burial will follow in the Toronto Union Cemetery.
