Mavis Schroyer, 82, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Thursday Oct. 1, 2009 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.Mavis was born July 1, 1927 in Follansbee, daughter of the late George and Ella Caddick Jones. She was a homemaker, a member of the 1st. United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star Toronto Lodge # 215. In addition to her parents, Mavis was preceded in death by her husband Jack, who passed away May 24, 1998, her son-in-law Bernie Coil, Aug. 6, 1996, and her sister Valerie Holloway. Surviving are her daughter Susan Coil of Toronto, her sons Thomas (Barb) Schroyer of Toronto and Randy (Nancy) Schroyer of Columbus. 11 grandchildren; Bernie (Donna) Coil, Scott (Allica) Coil, Rebecca (Frank) Starr, Julie Coil, Heather, Justin, Lindsay, Alecia, Megan Schroyer, David (Roxanne) Schroyer and Amy (Doug) Elson. 16 Great-Grandchildren. Friends and family may call on Sunday from 12 noon to 3:00 pm. and 6:00 - 8:00 pm., at the J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 701 Findley St. Toronto; where Servcies will be held on Monday at 11:00 am. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate Mavis's service and burial will follow in Island Creek Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Memory of Mavis to: The 1st.
