Maxine M. Hass, 89, of Adena, OH, passed away Thursday, January 06, 2011 in Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, WV.Maxine was born September 17, 1921 in Smithfield, OH, daughter of the late Bert and Arlie (Evans) Burdick.Maxine was homemaker and a member of the Meadowbrook Church of God; an avid traveler, 4-H Leader and a member of the AARP.In addition to her parents Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Hass who passed in 1983; infant daughter Cecelia, two sisters, Margaret Lathem and Gwen Allen and her brother Glenn Burdick.Maxine is survived by her four children, Scott Hass of Adena, OH, Karen Morrison of Windsor, VA, Louis Hass of Alexandria, PA, and Gary and his wife Patricia Hass of Johnstown, OH. Maxine is also survived by six grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.Visitation for Maxine will be held on Sunday, January 9 from 2-5pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH, where her funeral services will be held on Monday, January 10th at 11am with the Rev. Marvin Schooler officiating.
