Michael J. Timko, 82, of Toronto, OH, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017 in the Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

Mike was born April 29, 1935 in Toronto, son of the late Paul and Anna (Kusik) Timko.

He was retired from Timet-Titanium Metals Corp. in Toronto where he worked as an electrician. Mike was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Toronto and the Toronto Sunrise Senior Group. He was a 1953 graduate of Toronto High School and he served four years in the U.S. Air Force.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Vadjinia and Mary Ann Taylor and brothers, Paul and John Timko.

Mike leaves behind his wife, Lucille M. Timko whom he married June 30, 1956; his two daughters, Jackie Brody of Long Island, NY and Michele (Craig) Lelli of Dublin, OH; his two sons, Steven Timko of Springfield, OH and Bob Timko of Toronto; eight grandchildren, Chris and Bret Brody, Anthony and Jonathan Lelli, Nicole and Jeremy Timko and Steven and Lucy Timko; two great-grandchildren, Laila and Gracie Timko and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 1 from 1-5 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Additional visitation Monday at the funeral home from 11:30 am til 12:15 pm followed by his Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 12:30 at St. Joseph Church. Fr. Thomas Vennitti will celebrate the mass and burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery.

Military Graveside Honors will be provided by the Toronto American Legion Post #86. A Vigil Service will be held Sunday at 4 pm at the funeral home.
