MichaelTye 93,of Toronto, Ohio passed away Saturday March 4, 2006 in the Lancia Villa Royale Nursing Home in Steubenville.He was born Aug. 28, 1912 in Rankin, Pa., son of the late Alex and Julia Rohal Tye. Mike was retired from Levolor in Weirton, where he worked for 27 years. He is a member of St. Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church in Toronto, and was a U.S. Army Veteran of W.W. II. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his wife Mary Berescak Tye on Dec. 21, 2000, a brother Nicholas, two sisters Irene Tye Powers, Ann Tye Ekland and an infant sister, Mary.Surviving are brothers Joseph (Doloris) Tye of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Alexander Tye of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews.Friends and family are invited to attend Mike's Solemn Divine Liturgy on Tuesday morning at 10:00 am. at St. JosephByzantineChurch on N. 5th St. in Toronto; Rev. Father Andrew Chura will be the Celebrant and burial will follow in TorontoUnionCemetery. There will be no visitation or service at the Funeral Home for Mike. J. E.
