Michiel J. Kazimir, 66, of Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at his home.

Mike was born Jan. 25, 1951 in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Joseph Michiel Babe Kazimir and Marilyn Irene (Riffle) Kazimir Peckens who survives.

He was retired from Weirton-Steel Corp. where he worked as a Storeroom Clerk and he was Methodist by faith.

Mike was a Veteran of the US Army stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his father, Babe, he was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Ann Terrie (Searl) Kazimir.

Mike leaves behind his mother, Marilyn Kazimir Peckens of Toronto; his three sisters, Kathy (Jim) Rinaldo and Vickie (Gary) Yarosz both of Toronto and Ginny (Nino) Suriano of Wintersville, OH and several nieces and nephews.

There will be visitation on Saturday, Mar. 11 from 10 am til 12 noon at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. His funeral service will start at 12 noon with Rev. Kevin Rinkes officiating. Burial will follow in Ft. Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, OH, where there will be military honors provided by the Toronto American Legion Post #86. www.jefosterfh.com
