Morris L. Rogers, 88, of Steubenville, OH, formerly of Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday Sept. 3, 2024, in the Trinity Medical Center West ER in Steubenville.

Morris was born June 15, 1936, in Lorain, OH, son of the late Paul and Lillie (Morris) Rogers.

He retired from the Ohio Edison Co., W.H. Sammis Plant in Stratton, OH, where he was a Control Room Operator.

Morris was a Veteran of the US Air Force and a member of the Steubenville American Legion Post #274.

In addition to his parents, Morris was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Amanda Rogers, two sisters, Linda Webb and Mary Alice Rogers, and brother, Paul Rogers, Jr.

Morris leaves behind four daughters, Debra (Tom) West, Pam (Dave) Robinson, Barbara (Ed) Wickham, all of Toronto, and Alice Rogers of Steubenville; two brothers, James (Heather) Rogers of Milford Center, OH, and Richard (Sofie) Rogers of Marion, OH; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 10 from 2 PM to 4 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. A service for Morris will follow at 4 PM with Rev. Kevin Rinkes officiating.
