Myra Virginia McGrath, 100, of Toronto, OH, passed away Friday Jan. 22, 2016 in Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

Myra was born Dec. 29, 1915 in Steubenville, daughter of the late Forest B. and Laura B. (Truax) McClelland.

She was a homemaker most of her life. During the war, Myra worked at the former Follansbee Steel Co. in Toronto. She also worked at the former G.C. Murphys 5&10 store in Toronto.

Myra was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Toronto, where she was a Faith Fellowship Group Leader (meeting on Tuesday mornings) for many years. She also was the leader of the church TOPS group. Myra was a 1933 graduate of Toronto High School.

In addition to her parents, Myra was preceded in death by her husband, Earl in 1986; her two sons, Donald and James McGrath; her grandson, Jeff McGrath; her sister, Marge Gold and brother, Robert McClelland.

Surviving is her son, Ernie and his wife Theresa McGrath of Toronto, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

Visitation for Myra will be held on Tuesday Jan. 26 from 3-7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 701 Findley St. in Toronto. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 am at the funeral home with Rev. Kevin Rinkes officiating. Burial will follow in Island Creek Cemetery in Toronto.
