MYRTLE HELEN GEARIN Toronto, Ohio; Myrtle Helen (Householder) Gearin 97 of Toronto, Ohio died Sunday evening July 4, 2004 in the Country Club Manor in Steubenville. Myrtle was born June 18, 1907 in New Somerset, Ohio; daughter of the late Henry and Rachel E. Striker Householder. Myrtle was a Homemaker. She was a member of the New Somerset Christian Church and served for many years as an Election Judge for the Jefferson Co. Republican Party. In addition to her parents, Myrtle was preceded in death by; her husband; Clyde Gearin in 1972, two daughters;Hazel Young and Helen Scott. Also preceded by; Two Sisters; Erma Byers and Wilma Risnear; Two Brothers; Charles W. and Henry M. Householder; and by Six Half Brothers and Sisters. Surviving are; a daughter; Ruth and husband Joseph C. Shane Sr. of Toronto, Ohio. Two Sisters; Mabel Harbert of Canton, Ohio and Irene Baker of Bergholz, Ohio. 8 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, and 17 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Friends and Family may call on Tuesday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. at the J. E. Foster Funeral Home, Inc. 701 Findley St. Toronto, Ohio; where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday July 7, 2004 at 11:00 am. Joseph C. Shane Jr., Grandson of Myrtle's will officiate her Services. Burial will follow in Knoxville Cemetery.
