Nancy L. Carman, 79, of Toronto, OH, passed away Monday March 13, 2023, in the Dixon Health Care Center in Wintersville, OH.

Nancy was born Aug. 4, 1943, in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late Rex and Pauline (Engler) Blanchard.

She was retired from Trinity Health System (former Ohio Valley Hospital) housekeeping dept. Nancy was a graduate of the former Brilliant High School.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Carman (2021), son, Curtis J. Howell, Jr., sister, Norma, and three brothers, Rex, Glenn and Charles.

Surviving is her son, John David Carman of Toronto and her sister, Helen Jarman of Brunswick, OH.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 23 from 12 noon until 1 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto followed by a funeral service at 1 pm. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate, and burial will follow in the Island Creek Cemetery in Toronto.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
