Nancy L. Caranhan, 65 of Titanium Way Toronto, Ohio passed away Friday evening in the Valley Hospice Palliative Care Unit in Steubenville.She was born Feb. 7, 1941 in Detroit, MI., daughter of the late William N. Christian and Pearl Humphreys Christian Mitchell of Toronto who survives. Nancy was a Driving Instructor for 10 years, instructing the Handicapped, served 10 years as a Bus driver for the Jefferson Co. MRDD. She was a member of the D.A.R., serving as Past Regeant and the M.A.D.D., serving as Past President.In addition to her father, Nancy was preceded in death by her brother Eddie Mitchell, her Grandmother Daisy Belle Christian and her aunt Frances Belle Christian. Surviving in addition to her mother Pearl, is her husband Sheldon Carnahan at home, her daughter Donna M. ( Gary ) Switzer of Steubenville, two sons James D. Libetti of Steubenville and Shaun P. (Mickey ) Libetti of Toronto; her step-son Paul E. ( Mitzzi ) Carnahan of Columbus, Ohio. 7 Grandchildren and 1 Great-granddaughter.There will be a private family visitation at the J.E.FOSTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. 701 Findley St. Toronto.
