Nancy L. Tucker, 71, of Smithfield, OH, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2025, due to a devastating house fire.

Nancy was born December 20, 1954, in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late Louis and Goldie (Nagy) Saho.

She was a housewife and homemaker and attended the Cadiz Community Church. Nancy was also a 1973 graduate of Smithfield High School.

Nancy entered Heaven alongside her grandchildren, Jacob and Harleigh Tucker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. Tucker on July 18, 2017; brothers, Terry Saho and Melvin Umberger, and sister, Sue Taggart.

Nancy leaves behind her sons, Dustan Tucker and Ronald L. (Amy) Tucker; grandsons, Cody Hallenbaugh and fiancé Raven Shannon, Logan J. Tucker and Grayson Tucker and Valerie Howard, the mother of Logan and Grayson.

A Memorial Gathering for the Tucker family, organized by the Boots & Britches 4-H Club, will take place on Saturday, January 10 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jefferson County 4-H kitchen at the fairgrounds. The service, officiated by Pastor Jan Simpson, is scheduled for 3:30 PM.

Arrangements for Nancy, Jacob, and Harleigh are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield.
