Neal Starr,78ofToronto, Ohio passed away Saturday Oct. 14, 2006 in Trinity Medical Center West. He was born March 21, 1928 in Gore, Ohio; son of the late Frank and Gale Summers Starr.Neal was a retired employee of Titanium Metals Corp. in Toronto, where he worked as a Guard Lieutenant in the Security Dept. He was a member of the 1st. United Methodist Church in Toronto and formerly served as Treasurer for his Union at Titanium. In addition to his parents, Neal was preceded in death by a sister, Avas Hunter in July of 2006.Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Virginia (Foster) Starr, whom he married on June 13, 1948; three daughters, Victoria (Bruce) Boggs, Brenda (Jack) Daniels, Debbie (Jim) McGraw all of Toronto, a special family daughter, Bonnie (Mark) Valentine also of Toronto. Four Grandsons, Shawn (Amy) Henderson of Columbus, Steve (Adele) Henderson of Wadsworth, Ohio, Chris (Julie) Henderson of Hilliard, OhioandBrent McGraw of Toronto. Four Great-Grandsons, Malcolm Neal, Noah Matthew, Liam Christopher, andElliott Neal Henderson.Four Step-Great-Grandchildren, Zachary and Autumn Daniels and Joseph and Michael Iafrate.Three Sisters, Madeline (Bill) Dodds of Toronto, Rosalie (Frank) West of Elyria, Ohio and Marilyn ( Sam ) Crawford of Toronto. Five Brothers, Clell (Nonie) Starr, Terry (Doris) Starr both of Toronto, Lynn (Joyce) Starr of Stratton, Max (Linda) Starr of Falconer, NY., and Johnnie (Nancy) Starr of Toronto. Friends and family may call on Monday Oct. 16th, from 2-4&7-9 pm.at the J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc., 701 Findley St.Toronto. (740-537-3900 / 800-557-4318).Neal's Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday at the 1st. United Methodist Church, corner of 6th and Main St. in Toronto beginning at 11:00 am.Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 am. til time of the service.Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate the Service. A private burial will take place following the service at Toronto Union Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to: the 1st.
