Nellie Marie (Davis) Combs, 88, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Wednesday Feb. 15, 2012 in Life Line Hospital in Wintersville, Ohio. Nellie was born Jan. 28, 1924 in Norton, Va., daughter of the late Addison C. and Amanda Stone Davis. Nellie was retired from the Pepsi-Cola Co. in Norton, Va., where she was a clerk and she was protestant by faith.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Robert Jay Combs Jr., in 2006 and by a brother Bill Davis. Surviving is her brother Burke Davis of Toronto, her trusted companion Benji her dog, two nieces Marla Yeager and Glenna Yocum both of Toronto. Three grandsons, five great-grandchildren and three nephews. At Nellie's request there will be no visitation and a family burial service will take place in her home town of Norton, Va. at a later date.
