Nellie (Zeroski) Kinyo, 94, of Smithfield, OH, passed away Friday, December 6, 2013 in the Gables Care Center in Hopedale, OH.Nellie was born October 10, 1919 in Ramsey, OH, daughter of the late Albert and Margaret Waligura Zeroski.She was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Dillonvale and an active member of the former Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Smithfield where she was involved in the CWC. Nellie was also a homemaker and member of the Smithfield Senior Citizens Group.In addition to her parents, Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, William P. Kinyo who passed in 1978; her grandson Jeffrey P. Cottage and five brothers and four sisters.Nellie leaves behind her children, son William J. (Veronica) Kinyo of Rayland, son Allen (Shirley) Kinyo of Bloomingdale, daughter Sandra (Don) Rakoski of Rayland; two sisters, Elizabeth (William) Swiger of Rayland and Louise Bertolino of Adena. Also surviving are her nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.Visitation for Nellie will be held on Monday, Dec. 9 from 4-8 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 107 Hill St. in Smithfield, OH. Everyone is invited to gather at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Dillonvale on Tuesday from 9:15 am up til the time of her Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10 am. Msgr. John Kolesar will Celebrate the Mass and burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens in Colerain, OH. A Vigil Service will be held Monday at 4 pm at the funeral home.
