Nicholas Hall Thornton, 20, of Toronto, OH, passed away Friday July 9, 2021, at his home.

Nick was born on Dec. 27, 2000, in Steubenville, OH, son of Douglas Hall and Katherine Thornton.

Nick was a carpenter associated with Tradesman International.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, JoAnn McCarthy.

Nick is survived by his daughter, Baleigh Thornton of East Springfield, OH; his father Doug Hall of Toronto, his mother Katherine Thornton of Steubenville; stepmother Sheena Albaugh of Toronto; brother Brandon Thornton of Steubenville and sister Ashley Carroll of Toronto; maternal grandmother Sheryl Thornton of Toronto; aunts April Coleman of Hammondsville, Candy Hall of KY, and Brenda Lowe of Chillicothe, OH, and his uncle Herman Hall of Toronto.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 14, 2021, from 5 to 7 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto followed by his funeral service at 7. Rev. Kevin Rinkes will officiate, and his burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
