Norma J. Black, 74, of Toronto, OH, passed away Thursday June 11, 2015 at her home.

Norma was born Oct. 29, 1940 in Dillonvale, OH, daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Lovisa) Slegr.

She was formerly employed at Weirton Steel Corp. working in the tin mill. She was a member of the GKL sportsmans club, the Toronto Red Knight Womens Club and the ASPCA.

Surviving is her husband, Jack M. Black, whom she married on Sept. 9, 1962; her daughter, Jacqueline Black Erickson of Toronto; a step-daughter, Chyral Black Inman of Brilliant, OH; one grandson, Anthony Erickson of Eagan, MN. and one step-granddaughter Angela (Inman) Shoulders; three sisters, Marie Weatherhead of Wintersville, OH, Jo E. Pearce of Rayland, OH and Linda Hillis of TN.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 16, 2015 from 4-7 pm at the J. E. Foster Funeral Homes, Inc. 701 Findley St. in Toronto. Her funeral service will be Wednesday at 10 am at the funeral home with Brooks Karrick officiating. Following the service, burial will be held in Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, OH. There will be no procession, everyone will meet at the Lower Chapel at the cemetery between 11:30-11:45 am for the committal service.
