Norma A. Kolar, age 72, of Smithfield, OH and most recently Dublin, OH, passed away on Nov 26, 2014, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Norma was born June 8, 1942 to the late Leo and Sophie Antoline and was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Kolar.

She is survived by son James (Jill) Kolar of Portsmouth, Ohio; daughter Christi (Craig) Markos and grandsons, Stephen and Evan Markos of Dublin, Ohio; her sister, Alma (Ernie, deceased) Kovarik; her brother David (Tina) Antoline; other relatives and many close friends.

Norma retired from the Jefferson County Clerks Office in 2005. She had a strong and courageous spirit and faced her cancer with a positive and inspirational attitude. Her greatest joy was to watch her grandsons play ball and mature into incredible young men.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 30 from 5-7pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH. Visitation will also be held Monday, December 1 from 10-11am at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, 39 Smithfield St. in Dillonvale, OH, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 11.
