Olive Jean Blake, 89, of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday, December 04, 2010 in the Autumn Health Care Center in Adena, OH.Olive Jean was born on February 16, 1921 in Toronto, OH, daughter of the late James and Effa (Hess) Kearns. Olive Jean was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church in Toronto. She was a housewife who for 4 years during WWII worked for the Federal Government as a Civil Servant. Olive Jean was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge #221 where she served as Past Worthy Matron in 1990 and again in 1993; she was also a member of the Junior Women's Club where she was the Registered Parliamentarian.Olive Jean was preceded in death by her husband Harrison who passed in 1980, one brother James and three sisters, Anna Margaret, Kathleen and June.Olive Jean is survived by her two sons, Harrison M. (Karen) and Lyle A. (Darlene) Blake all of Cleveland; her sister Agnes Butcher of California and her two grandchildren, Jessica Erin and Robert Harrison Blake.Visitation for Olive Jean will be held on Monday, December 6th., from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH; where her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11am with the Rev. Kevin Rinkes officiating. Burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery. www.jefosterfh.com
