Olive L. (Ackerman) Carpenter, 80, of Toronto, OH, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the Gables Care Center in Hopedale, OH.Olive was born September 22, 1931 in Whitaker, PA, daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Caspare) Ackerman. She was a Methodist by faith.In addition to her parents, Olive was preceded in death by her four sisters, Mildred Eisnaugle, Laura Smart, Dolores Clegg and Dorothy Stanley; her two brothers, William and Howard Ackerman.Olive is survived by her brother Donald (Caroline) Ackerman of Monroeville, PA along with several nieces and nephews.Friends and family will gather Thursday evening, Feb. 9, from 6-8pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH, followed by her Funeral Service on Friday morning at 11am. Rev. Eric Frey will officiate the service.
