IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paris Anthony 'Tony'
Santone
November 19, 1976 – November 26, 2023
Paris Anthony "Tony" Santone, 47, of Wickliffe, Ohio, fell asleep in the Lord on Sunday, November 26, 2023, after a two-year battle with metastatic colon cancer.
Originally from Toronto, Ohio, Paris was born on November 19, 1976, and was a 1996 graduate of Toronto High School. He was a proud employee of the City of Lyndhurst Service Department for twenty years before retiring on September 5, 2023. His happiest moments were driving his immaculate truck, waving to children along his route, and spending laughter-filled days with his City of Lyndhurst family, who selflessly volunteered their vacation time to Paris when he needed it for physician appointments and treatments. Paris family is forever grateful for their kindness and support.
Paris loved the finer things in life, and enjoyed good food, beautiful, clean cars and the company of dear family and friends. His favorite team, the Cleveland Browns, gave him his last birthday present with a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on November 19, 2023. Paris wanted to see the world, and he got the chance to visit Luxembourg, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, and France with his family earlier this year.
Paris is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Paul and Anna Mihalik of Stratton, Ohio; his paternal grandparents, Bill and Angeline Santone of Dillonvale, Ohio; his mother, Carol Mihalik Santone Pesuit of Toronto; and his paternal aunt, Donna Santone Vilano of Martins Ferry, Ohio. He leaves behind his brother, Eric Santone of Toronto; aunt and uncle Deborah and Nicholas Covelli of Mentor, Ohio; aunt and uncle Barbara and Robert Hall of Weirton, WV; aunt and uncle Nadine and William Myers of Powell, Ohio; cousins Marcus Covelli and Deanna Covelli of Mentor; cousins Alex Myers and Jacob Myers of Powell; cousins Darin and Erin Vilano of Pittsburgh, PA; cousins Michael and Nikki Vilano and Rachel Vilano, all of Martins Ferry; "nephews" Vincent and Benny Rupp of Highland Heights, Ohio, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Schulte & Mahon-Murphy Funeral Home, 5252 Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst, Ohio 44124. A panikhida (memorial) service will be held at 6:00 p.m. with the Very Reverend Father Andrew Clements officiating.
Visitation will continue Thursday, December 7, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 10 a.m. at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 608 Colliers Way, Weirton, WV 26062. A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. with the Reverend Andrew P. Nelko officiating. Interment with graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery, Steubenville, Ohio.
