Patricia L. (Swickard) (McKim) Ambler, 87 of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday Feb. 13, 2021 at the Gables Care Center in Hopedale, OH.

Pat was born July 5, 1933 in Smithfield, OH, daughter of the late Wilmer and Alma Agnes (Gow) Hawthorne.

She was retired from Edison Local Schools, where she worked as a Teachers Aide.

Pat was a member of the Bell Chapel United Methodist Church in Pleasant Hill. She was a 4-H Advisor for over 60 years, a graduate of Kent State University and an avid Ohio State Buckeye Fan.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Dale Swickard; second husband, David McKim; third husband, Walter Ambler; infant daughter, Dale Lynn Swickard; sister, Lindia Singer; her brother and his wife, William Richard (Janice) Hawthorne.

Pat leaves behind her daughter, Darla Sue (Jim) Zorbini; two sons, Patrick Dale Swickard and Jason Luther Boyd (Jennifer) Swickard all of Toronto; sister, Joyce (Roger) Stull of Scio, OH; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday Feb. 19, 2021 from 3 PM to 7 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto where Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 10 AM. Rev. Jeff Proya will officiate and burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, OH.
