Patricia L. Patty Roth, 61, of Toronto, OH, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015 in the Trinity Medical Center West ER in Steubenville, OH.

Patty was born Sept. 19, 1953 in Steubenville, OH, to Russell R. and Catherine M. Kitty Werntz Roth.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Toronto. Patty was a graduate of Toronto High School, a member of the Toronto Seniors and the Catholic Womens Club of the church and she attended the M&M parties at Toronto Nazarene Church.

Patty attended the Jefferson Co. Workshop and she worked at the AEP building in Steubenville. She had a great and faithful work ethic and enjoyed all of her friends at AEP. She also loved to play bingo and cards with her family.

Patty is preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Roth and her grandparents, John and Myrtle Roth and George and Mary Werntz.

She leaves behind her parents, Russell Russ and Catherine Kitty with whom she resided; her four sisters, Kathy Simmering, Susan (John) Kell, Sally (Mark) Ludewig and Cristine (Martin) Thompson all of Toronto; her nieces and nephews, Amy, Heather, Tara, Lindsay, Mitchell, Jessica and Brien and several great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Patty will be held on Tuesday from 4-7 pm with a Vigil Service at 7pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. Additional visitation (at the church) on Wednesday from 9 am til time of her Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Toronto. Fr. Thomas Vennitti will celebrate her Mass and burial will follow in Toronto Union Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Pattys memory to the Toronto High School Alumni Association or St. Joseph Catholic Church in Toronto.
