Patricia Jo Schoene, 59, of Toronto, OH, formerly of Cameron, WV, passed away Friday Sept. 24, 2021, in the Trinity Medical Center in Steubenville, OH.

Patty was born Aug. 28, 1962, in Newfane, NY, daughter of Lucy (Eramo) Barbalate, who survives, and the late Francis Barbalate.

Patty was formerly employed as a certified nursing assistant at Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glendale, WV, where she was a passionate caregiver.

In addition to her father, Patty was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert, and Michael Barbalate, and brothers-in-law, Earl Gross and Randy Beresford.

Surviving is her mother, Lucy Barbalate of Wheeling, WV; daughter Jamie L. (Greg) West of Hammondsville, OH; son Jeremy Antill of St. Clairsville, OH; five sisters, Sharon Gross, Denise (Steve) Waggoner, Luanne (Terry) Vanover all of NY, Jodi Beresford of Wheeling, WV, and Tina (Dave) Estel of TX. Patty loved and adored her four grandchildren, Greg, Laney, Jayden and Andie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and all of the many special friends in her life.

Pattys family honored her wishes to be cremated and there will be a Celebration of Life service announced at a later date. Her arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Toronto, OH. www.jefosterfh.com
