Patricia Ann Smith, 84, of Toronto, OH, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.

Pat was born Feb. 2, 1938, in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Jefferson and Irene Peltz.

She worked in the deli of the former Staceys IGA in Toronto, also at La-Belle News, and Touch of Elegance Catering.

Pat loved spending time with friends and family and attended her grandchildrens events at their school. She enjoyed decorating and celebrating the holidays, playing with her cats and dogs, and various card games such as, rummie, bingo, and listening to music.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Gibbons, and son-in-law, Jim Joynson.

Pat leaves behind her five children, Valery A. (Bill) Miller of Youngstown, OH, Christy D. Joynson, of Toronto, Scott A. (Pam) Smith of Youngstown, Paige L. Enochs, and Tracy L. (Peter) Gulczynski both of Toronto; five grandchildren, Zachary, Lucas, and Katie Gulczynski, Kristy Smith, and Mike (Danielle) Furbee; great-granddaughter, Skirah Bartles, and many other beloved friends and family members including, Nikki and Timothy Morris.

Friends and family will be received Monday, July 18 from 1 pm to 5 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto. A funeral service for Pat will follow at 5 pm with Rev. Kevin Rinkes. Following her service, she will be cremated, and her final resting place will be in the Island Creek Cemetery in Toronto. www.jefoster.com
