Paul H. Cusick, Jr., 83, of Rayland, OH, passed away Wednesday May 26, 2021 in the Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

Paul was born July 9, 1937 in West Point, OH, son of the late Paul H., Sr. and Wilma (Seevers) Cusick.

Paul was retired from Ohio Coal & Construction where he worked on the Dragline.

He was a member of the Smithfield United Methodist Church. Paul loved country music, working on old tractors, and gardening. He enjoyed playing music with his friends in Scio at the Barn.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his son, James William Cusick; two brothers, Don and Dean, and his sister, Lucille Drummond.

Surviving is his wife of 48 years, Sarah L. (Miller) Cusick; daughter, Teresa (Stan) Barefield of Lisbon, OH; two sons, Paul Wesley Cusick of Magnolia, OH, and Larry Paul Cusick of Yorkville, OH; sister, Jane Wright of Lisbon, OH; two brothers, Dale Cusick of Salem, OH, and John (Bonnie) Cusick of Lisbon; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday May 28, 2021 from 3 to 7 PM at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home 107 Hill St. in Smithfield, OH. Pauls funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 AM at the funeral home. Rev. Wilford Simeral will officiate, and burial will follow in the New Alexandria Cemetery.
