Paula Marie Johns, 87, of Toronto, OH, passed away at her home on Friday March 8, 2019.

Paula was born on Feb. 14, 1932 in Toronto, OH, daughter of the late Paul and Alice (Bletch) McFerren.

She was a homemaker and loved to garden and read.

Paula was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Toronto, Toronto Order of Eastern Stars #215 and the Order of the Amaranth Temple Court #8 in Cleveland, OH.

In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her husband, Sale H. Johns, Jr. in 1974, her granddaughter, Alyssa McTheny and her sister, Charlotte Zapola.

Surviving are her children, Diana Swick of California, Sayla Watson of Mingo Jct., OH, David (Bonnie) Johns and Brian (Linda) Johns both of Cleveland, OH; her 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service for Paula will be held at 2 pm Sunday, March 10 at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto with Rev. Kevin Rinkes. Family and friends are invited to gather at 1 pm and the Toronto Order of Eastern Stars Service will be held at 1:45 pm prior to her service. www.jefosterfh.com
