Pedro A. Marrero Jr., of Toronto, Ohio passed away at his home on Monday Aug. 15, 2011. Pedro was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Jan. 29, 1953, son of Isabel Reyes Marrero who survives and the late Pedro A. Marrero Sr. Pedro was employed at Timet-Titanium Metals Corp. in Toronto, where he was a millwright. He was a life time member of the V.F.W., a member of the Toronto Eagles and served his country in the U S Army. Surviving is his wife Solina (Allen) Marrero, whom he married on Oct. 1, 1974, two daughters, Jennifer (Todd) Filby and Sonja Kay Marrero all of Toronto. His son Master Sgt. Christopher (Audrey) Marrero of Sumter, S.C. Seven grandchildren, Andrea, Anthony, Emily, Nicholas, Lani, Aiden and Bailea. He is also survived by his sister, Isabel Obando of Puerto Rico and two brothers, Jose Marrero of Georgia and Raphael Marrero of Puerto Rico.A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday Aug. 18th. at 7:00 pm. at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home Inc., 107 Findley St. Toronto, Ohio. Visitation will take place from 5:00 pm Thursday up til time of Pedro's Memorial Service at 7:00 pm. Rev.
